Achievement Week
Marcel Clarke
Committee Description
The Achievement Week Awards Committee shall select a District Omega Man of the Year and a Citizen of the Year, and shall provide for the appropriate recognition and awareness thereof, and shall coordinate the selection and recognition of such other awards as the District may direct.
Audit

Committee Description
The Audit Committee shall collect all financial records of the District KRS, District KF, and Financial Management Committee and file a complete financial audit report -ending April 30th- with the District at the Fall Council Meeting that immediately follows the preceding District Convention.
Bylaws

Committee Description
The Bylaws Committee shall receive, review, and recommend to the Grand Conclave all proposed amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws of the Fraternity that are submitted in accordance with Chapter IV, Article I of these Bylaws and that it feels are in the best interest of the Fraternity.
Community & Civic Affairs

Committee Description
The Community & Civic Affairs Committee will diligently work with the respective Communities throughout the Tenth District, which is comprised of five (5) states ~ Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
Credential

Committee Description
The Credential Committee to certify all delegates. The committee has the responsibility of certifying delegates prior to the election of District officers. Said committee shall determine the voting status of the house including delegates, officers, committee chairs, and past District Representatives.
District Conv. Arrangements

Committee Description
Together with the District Representative, the District Convention Arrangements Committee (DCAC) shall, within one hundred eighty (180) days after the District Convention in which they were appointed (and as necessary thereafter) visit the several sites where invitations have been approved for consideration in the Time and Place Committee report.
Fatherhood and Mentoring

Committee Description
The Fatherhood and Mentoring Committee shall have the responsibility of developing programs that will explore the problems of the African-American man and solutions. The committee shall compile a summary of all programs/projects held within the District within the fiscal year and report the same during the Annual District Convention.
History & Archives

Committee Description
The History and Archives Committee is chiefly responsible for the Talented Tenth District History. The committee is also responsible for receiving the names of the Golden Bridge Builders (GBB) as well as preside over the GBB Ceremony during the District Convention.
Information Technology

Committee Description
The Information Technology Committee is to manage, maintain, and update the Tenth District website. The committee provides cost effective technology & functional ways to streamline processes and electronically communicate pertinent information for the chapters as well as the District.
Membership Selection

Committee Description
The MSP Committee shall supervise, coordinate, and review all New Membership activities and documentation for all chapters within the Tenth District. It shall review and submit all completed New Membership application packages to the IHQ via the District Representative.
Reclamation & Retention

The Reclamation and Retention Committee is designed to assist chapters througout the Tenth District with methods of Reclaiming as well as Retaining members of this great fraternity. The best practices and what works internationally.
Recommendations

Committee Description
The Recommendations Committee is charged with the duty of editing all recommendations presented to it and submitting said recommendations to the District Convention for consideration. Any recommendations that need to submitted to other Committees will be happen accordingly.
Rules

Committee Description
The Rules and Parliamentary Procedure Committee shall be responsible for the management and updating of the District Handbook. It shall update and provide the chapters and the District with information on properly utilizing Robert’s Rule of Order/Parliamentary Procedure to effectively conduct meeting assemblies and official business.
Scholarship

Committee Description
The Scholarship Committee. 1.To prepare detailed regulations, policies, and announcements for awards; 2.To select chapters and/or Brothers whose scholarship is noteworthy and present same to the District Convention for recognition in the form of awards.
Social Action

Committee Description
The Social Action Committee shall prepare and submit to the District Council a program for approval embracing District issues, before it assumes its duty. If approved, said program shall become the District program and appropriate budget shall be approved for implementation.
Talent Hunt

Committee Description
The Talent Hunt Committee shall be responsible for organizing and developing the District Talent Hunt Program. Its responsibility shall include all aspects of promoting the program as well as the responsibility for getting the winner to the National Talent Hunt Demonstration at the Grand Conclave.
Undergraduate Activities

Committee Description
The Undergraduate Activities Committee shall evaluate the programs and activities of undergraduate chapters, develop uniform procedures of the conduct of hose chapters and disseminate this information to all chapters in the District. The committee shall work through the District Representative to ensure implementation.

Committee Description
The Voter Registration, Education, and Mobilization Committee shall assist chapters in facilitating and participating in activities that uplift their communities through the power of the vote.
Ways & Means

Committee Description
The Ways and Means Committee shall assist chapters with development of new programs or refine existing programs to increase revenue on an annual basis. Such programs may be implemented at the District level for the same reason.

African American Life & History

Committee Description
The African American Life and History Committee shall research and make known the identity, life, practices, and accomplishments and worldly contributions of persons of African American descent. They shall recommend such action(s) as to give proper recognition to such individuals.
Charles R. Drew Blood Drive

The Dr. Charles R. Drew Blood Drive Committee shall assist in facilitating and/or coordinate activities/programs for local chapter that will uplift their communities by promoting good health practices with specific concentration on increasing blood donation through the proper facilities.
District Chapter Advisors

The District Chapter Advisors Committee will ensure that all chapter advisors have viable information to assist with keeping all advisors up to speed with how to actively work with undergraduate chapters throughout the Talented Tenth District.
Economic Development

The Economic Development Committee will provide great ideas for the Talented Tenth District to support and assist with the growth of Omega Owned or Black-Owned Businesses. With that, the efforts will be recorded every year and the chapter with the best efforts will be awarded District Champion.
Health Initiatives

The Health Initiatives Committee was established in accordance with the Internationally Mandated Program. This committee will create activities for the chapters to particpate and track the results and ensure that brothers remain in fighting trim.
Inspector General

The Inspector General Committee is to protect the integrity, financial benefit and welfare of all the chapters and members throughout the Talented Tenth District.
Pastoral

Committee Description
The Pastoral Committee Head will be directly accountable to the District Representative and the District Chaplain. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide learning and training opportunities for local chapter Chaplains and other interested brothers through the presentation of workshops and seminars at the direction of the District Chaplain.
Political Education

The Political Education Committee shall bring forth information about the political environment and provide educational methods that will assist the chapters with how to be more astute in the country that we live. It will also stress the importance of making sound educated voting decsions.
Tenth District Education Foundation

The Tenth District Education Foundation Committee raises funds every year to assist with Scholarship donations.
Time & Place

Committee Description
The Time and Place Committee was created to assist chapters that host the district meetings (Fall Council & Convention) with the planning. There is a five (5) year rotation list for the chapters in the various state in the Tenth District.
Undergrad Housing

Committee Description
The Undergrad Housing Committee was designed to assist the undergraduate membership with obtaining housing for the various mandatory district meetings (Fall Council & District Convention). This committee will ensure that these brothers are offered reduced room rates.
Violence Prevention

Committee Description
The Violence Prevention Committee shall assist chapters of the District with development of new and/or improvement of existing domestic violence programs. It shall report annually to the District the success rate of all chapters that embrace and implement procedures to minimize/eliminate domestic violence in their local communities.
